Dr. Henrietta Toivanen is a Development Fellow at the Bourse & Bazaar Foundation, a think tank focused on economic diplomacy, economic development, and economic justice in the Middle East and Central Asia. Her work concentrates on diplomacy, mediation, and regional cooperation in the Middle East. She holds a PhD and master’s degree in Public and International Affairs from Princeton University, with a focus on Science, Technology, and Environmental Policy, as well as a bachelor’s degree in Biophysics and International Relations from Claremont McKenna College. Previously, she served as a Water Management Officer at UNDP Iran. In 2022, she was a Visiting Fellow at the Foundation.
